Yantai Snack – Mènzi Ingredients:
– Liangfen (mung bean jelly), an appropriate amount
– Garlic, three to four cloves
– Sesame paste, two spoons
Yantai Snack – Mènzi Cooking Steps:
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients by cutting the liangfen into pieces.
Step 2: Heat a non-stick pan with oil and stir-fry the liangfen, pressing down as you go.
Step 3: Stir-fry over low heat until excess water is evaporated, then turn off the heat and set aside.
Step 4: Crush the garlic into a paste, adding a pinch of salt and monosodium glutamate while crushing. Since liangfen already has a salty taste, use less seasoning.
Step 5: Dilute the sesame paste with warm water.
Step 6: Pour the sesame paste over the stir-fried liangfen and drizzle with the garlic paste. Your dish is now complete.
Step 7: Take a bite – it’s soft, sticky, and deliciously flavorful. Isn’t it incredibly simple?!
Yantai Snack – Mènzi Cooking Tips:
For best results, use a non-stick pan to stir-fry the liangfen to prevent it from sticking and burning.
