Main Ingredients:
– Flour: 200g
– Egg: 1
– Water: 60 – 70g
– Sugar: 40g
– Salt: 3g
– Sesame: Appropriate amount
Steps to Make Sanzi
Step 1: Knead all the ingredients into a smooth dough, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for more than 10 minutes to relax.
Step 2: Sprinkle a thin layer of flour on the cutting board. Roll the dough into a thin sheet (sprinkle thin flour while rolling to prevent sticking). Cut it into square pieces, fold them in half, make 5 cuts at the bottom without cutting through at the top, and spread them out. Set aside.
Step 3: Pour oil into a pot and heat it to 70% hot (when a chopstick is inserted, bubbles will form). Adjust to medium heat. Put the sanzi into the oil one by one, fry until golden brown, drain the oil and take them out.
